ZachXBT Uncovers Fabricated Hack in Acquisition of DeGods and y00t

On 3 April 2024, ZachXBT uncovered a concerning revelation regarding Kyle's purported hack in his Discord server.

Despite initial claims of a wallet breach, investigations by the prominent blockchain investigator painted a different picture.

A short investigation into how @kyledegods faked a hack and stole SOL from his project @NuddiesNFT before spending it on NFTs and lying to holders about how devastated he was about the incident.

Fake Hack?

The narrative shifted from an external breach to a deliberate fund transfer, revealing a tangled web of deceit surrounding a supposed hack involving a "social gamer," Kyle, and the lesser-known non-fungible token (NFT) project 'NuddiesNFT.'

Within a short timeframe of the alleged incident, 94 SOL tokens, valued at approximately $12,000, were tracked to an exchange deposit address.

Further analysis traced 3.42 ETH, equivalent to around $11.7K, to a subsequent transaction used for purchasing high-value NFTs, notably DeGods #2921 & y00t #10991.

These NFTs swiftly made their way to Kyle's public ENS address, where he conspicuously showcased his ill-gotten gains, featuring the DeGods NFT as his social media profile picture.

Despite the brazen display, Kyle proceeded to share motivational quotes in Discord, seemingly oblivious to the blockchain's unforgiving transparency.

ZachXBT's investigation serves as a stark reminder of blockchain's inherent transparency amidst prevalent scams.

Following ZachXBT's exposé, Kyle deleted his X (formerly known as Twitter) account.

Meanwhile, NuddiesNFT announced the replenishment of its creator wallet with $12K and the redistribution of private keys to two community members.

The post has seen been removed.

With new project overseers in place, the fate of NuddiesNFT remains uncertain, with some investors hopeful while others remain wary of potential rug pulls.

Following the clarification, DUST's price fell from its peak near $0.80 to $0.66, still up 8% on the day.
