On April 2, the largest recipient of the Athena Labs airdrop received nearly $2 million worth of Athena (ENA) tokens.
According to on-chain data analyzed by Arkham Intelligence in an article published on April 2, recipient wallet 0xb56 received 3.3 million Athena tokens, worth $1.96 million.

The Athena Labs airdrop went live on April 2, distributing $450 million worth of ENA tokens to eligible wallets.
According to Athena Labs’ X post, the full airdrop allocation was distributed at 7:17 AM UTC on April 2.
“A full 5% of ENA has been allocated to the smart contract. Core contributors will be working around the clock to provide support for any questions regarding $ENA.”
After the airdrop claim page went live, Athena tokens were listed for trading on some of the largest centralized cryptocurrency exchanges, including Binance, Bybit, KuCoin, HTX, MEXC, and BitMart at 8:00 AM UTC.
In the 24 hours to 11:30 AM, Athena tokens fell more than 15%, changing hands at $0.5824. On March 8, it offered investors an annual percentage yield (APY) of 67%, becoming the highest-earning decentralized application (DApp) in the cryptocurrency space.
According to Athena Labs’ homepage, Athena’s USDe currently offers a 35.4% yield to over 123,000 users with a total value locked (TVL) of $1.6 billion.
USDe’s market cap has risen 1.9% over the past week and 135% over the past month to $1.58 billion, according to DefiLlama.
Last week, Athena tokens were listed on the Binance distribution pool for mining.
On March 29, fake ENA tokens attracted widespread attention when $290,000 worth of BNB was stolen. On-chain security firm PeckShield mistook the fake tokens for real ENA tokens. The real Athena tokens were not exploited.
