Google DeepMind launches AI product Gemini 1.0
Demis Hassabis, a Google DeepMind co-founder who focuses on AI research, published a document on the X platform announcing the launch of an AI product, Gemini 1.0.
Hassabis said Gemini 1.0 is Google DeepMind’s most flexible model to date: able to run efficiently on everything from data centers to mobile devices. Its advanced capabilities will significantly enhance the way developers and enterprise customers build and scale with artificial intelligence.
Gemini 1.0 has three versions:
Gemini Ultra: suitable for high-complexity tasks;
Gemini Pro: mission-scalable model;
emini Nano: A more efficient device-side task model.
According to previous news, on April 21 this year, Google’s parent company Alphabet will merge its Google Brain and DeepMind, so that the merger of these two AI-focused teams will help the company gain an advantage in the competition in the field of artificial intelligence. .
