BODEN, a meme coin that deliberately misspelled Biden's name, surged 25% after Trump made a mocking remark
After Trump answered a fan's question, the price of Jeo Boden (BODEN), a spoof meme coin project that deliberately misspelled the name of US President Joe Biden, soared 25% on Wednesday.
Earlier, at the Trump Card NFT party held at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, someone described BODEN to Trump and said that the token has a market value of $240 million. Trump sarcastically said: "I don't like this investment."
After a short-term rise to $0.4269, BODEN prices fluctuated and are now reported at $0.3517, with a 24H increase of 9.1%. (CoinDesk)
Earlier today, Donald Trump announced that he was accepting donations to the US presidential campaign in the form of cryptocurrency.
Trump said: "Biden doesn't even know what cryptocurrency is. If you like cryptocurrency, you'd better vote for Trump."
Trump also promised that he would stop the US hostility to cryptocurrency and embrace it.
