Alternative execution client op-erigon based on OP Stack released by Test in Prod team at OP Goerli
According to OP Labs, Test in Prod leverages the modular and open-source OP Stack to develop an alternative execution client, op-erigon, which is now available for testing on OP Goerli, allowing users to implement it in the GitHub repository or in Prod's OP Goerli public RPC It will be tested and will eventually be published on the OP mainnet. OP Labs stated that the op-erigon development team Test in Prod, a team that does not belong to OP Labs at all, demonstrated the power of the modular and open source OP Stack. According to Foresight News, on April 20, a16z Crypto launched the OP Stack-based Rollup client "Magi", which is written in Rust language and replaces the consensus client (Rollup client) in the OP Stack. It works together with other terminals (such as op-geth) for synchronization, and can now be synchronized to the Optimism and Base testnets, aiming to improve the client diversity and resilience of the entire OP Stack ecosystem.
