Enterprise Blockchain Platform SettleMint Launches AI Assistant to Help Web3 Developers Write Smart Contracts
Odaily Planet Daily News Enterprise-level blockchain platform SettleMint launched an AI assistant on its platform to help Web3 developers write smart contracts.
Roderik van der Veer, co-founder and chief technology officer of SettleMint, said that SettleMint created artificial intelligence assistants not to replace humans. Artificial intelligence can help draft smart contracts, but its real value lies in explaining the role of each line of code.
SettleMint primarily trains the AI assistant on OpenAI's GPT-4 and provides it with the latest information on blockchain development.
According to van der Veer, the “crypto winter” has not had a detrimental effect on SettleMint, and the company has “grown quite a lot” in terms of potential customers, with signed contract sales increasing 3-4 times this year. Changes in customer behavior also reflect the maturation of the enterprise blockchain space, as its users shift from "small teams within companies working on specific projects" to large teams undergoing "large-scale internal training." According to previous reports, in October 2022, SettleMint announced the completion of a 16 million euro Series A round of financing, led by Molten Ventures, with participation from OTB Ventures, Fujitsu Ventures, Allusion, Bloccelerate, and existing investor Medici Ventures, LP.
SettleMint's "Blockchain Platform as a Service" (BPaaS) helps enterprises and development teams build blockchain applications and platforms, removes the complexity of blockchain technology, and provides users with a set of ready-to-use tools, frameworks, and templates and APIs. SettleMint plans to use this round of financing to strengthen the company's market position in Europe (Belgium), MEA (Dubai), India (Delhi) and Singapore, and will expand into the Japanese market.
