Odaily Planet Daily News ConsenSys released the "Diligence Fuzzing" tool for smart contract testing. The new tool generates “random and invalid data points” in order to find vulnerabilities in contracts before they are released.
In 2022, decentralized finance hacks caused over $2.8 billion in losses. These losses have prompted developers to adopt more sophisticated testing tools to help find vulnerabilities before attackers, ConsenSys said.
The new tool used to be available in a closed beta, and developers needed to be approved for access. Effective August 1, this approval process is no longer required. Diligence Fuzzing is also now integrated with the smart contract toolkit Foundry and offers a free version for developers to test. (cointelegraph)
